Parboiled rice

Parboiled rice is produced by a process of soaking ,pressuresteaming and drying prior to milling. This modified the strach and permits the retention of much of the nature vitamins and minerals in kernels. the grain is usally yellowish and odorless, and once cooked ,the color largely fades.
